This critical election will shape the future of our community, state, and nation. Please make sure your voter registration is current and decide how you will cast your ballot, either early or on Election Day, November 4th. 1. Vote from Home with an Absentee Ballot Request

Apply for an Absentee Ballot

Mail your ABR (Absentee Ballot Request) between August 26 and October 14 to:

Request Deadline

The Election Office must receive completed ABRs by 5 PM on October 20.

Ballots Sent Out

Ballots will be mailed beginning October 15.

Return Your Ballot

Please mail your completed ballot by October 28 to ensure it arrives by November 4 at 8 PM.
You may also deliver it in person to the Election Office.

2. Vote Early In Person

This is the new address for the Polk County Election Office. It has moved from past years.

3. Vote on Election Day

Dates & Times

Polls open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on November 4th, 2025.

Oct 15, 2025: Requested absentee ballots begin mailing.
Oct 15–Nov 3, 2025 (weekdays): Vote early in person at the Polk County Election Office (new address above).
Oct 20, 2025, 5:00 PM: Deadline for the Election Office to receive absentee ballot requests (regular). Postmarks do not count.
Oct 28, 2025: Suggested mail-by date for your completed absentee ballot to help ensure delivery by Nov 4 at 8:00 PM. You may also deliver your ballot in person.
